Verizon Hum is an application that pairs with a device that plugs into an older model vehicle in order to bring it into the modern smart car world. With different settings for alerts, monitoring and location, it helps to simplify car ownership and safety for the mechanically unsavvy, or the worried parents.
We were tasked to revisit and expand on color in the Hum app. Initially, color was applied to the current designs, which then opened up the discussion for further improving upon the experience of the app.

A bright & bold solution was created to bring familiarity and friendliness to the app and present information in a pronounced manner. The dashboard was reduced from a long scrolling experience to a single screen carousel to allow for a larger display of content without feeling the fatigue of moving from top to bottom, or getting lost in the scroll.
